“Follow the White Rabbit” is a personal surreal still-life series that deals with the struggles of death and loss. In the fast-paced world we live in, its seems unfair that the world around us still goes on no matter how long it takes to us to recover from losing a loved one. We pretend the pain isn’t there decaying our hearts while trying to keep up with the life around us. I wanted to take a surreal approach to the sadness I felt dealing with my parent’s death as well as show the transformation and healing that occurred during the grieving process.

Butterflies= Transformation
